Works vol. 1 was ELP's seventh album released in 1977. This was a double album with each member having one side solo, and then a fourth side with ELP performing as a band. This is the album that utilized the full orchestra that ELP took on tour for a short time. If you were lucky enough to see ELP touring with the orchestra, you saw a very special concert indeed.
